Shola Asenuga

Founder and President

Ms. Shola Asenuga is a distinguished physical therapist with over 30 years of comprehensive experience garnered in the United States Air Force Medical Service and at her private practice, Kingsway Physical Therapy LLC. She holds a Masters degree in physical therapy from Boston University and an active Virginia state license. She is a recipient of numerous top military medicine and professional organizations awards for excellence in the performance of her duties as outstanding rehabilitative practitioner, articulate educator and successful clinical and administrative leader/director of physical therapy. She successfully served as physical therapist caring for the wounded at the war front and in defense of the United States of America during OPERATIONS NORTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM and is currently serving in the Hampton Roads area. She is now devoted to improving the lives of individuals who might not otherwise qualify for rehabilitation services through Alafia.

Jack L. Ezzell, Jr.

Mr. Jack L. Ezzell, Jr.  is the Founder and CEO of Zel Technologies, an international firm specializing in providing advanced technology solutions to critical enterprise problems. Ezzell has extensive experience in the non-profit arena having led several non-profit organizations.  He has been actively involved in the health care sector through his membership on the Board of Sentara Healthcare.  He has held numerous leadership positions with VersAbility Resources, a non-profit, devoted to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. Jack is the recipient of numerous Commonwealth and Regional Leadership awards.

Kagbare Rowland

Ms. Kagbare Rowland has an extensive background in Community Economic Development.  She has held responsible positions with the Ford Foundation, United Way and leadership positions in Economic Development agencies.  Ms. Rowland has made significant and valuable contributions by helping low-and-moderate income families and individuals connect with opportunities, become economically self- sufficient by entering the economic mainstream and become vital members of the community. This has been a driving force in her professional career.  She brings her extensive background and enormous talents to Alafia.
